WD TV

Western Digital has updated its WD TV remote application for users of WD and WD TV Live TV Live Hub. The company soon will be adding support for the application for Android and IOS devices. WD also announced the addition of new transmission services to users of WD TV, VUDU, and several radio stations including sports.
The update of the WD TV Remote application now includes a pad of gestures to help navigate the menu screens and touch gestures services and QWERTY keyboard support for text input and search functionality. The application now also lets players control various WD TV at the same time. Language support has been improved and now includes English, German, Spanish, Italian, French, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Russian and Portuguese.
WD has added six new services to their customers. Vudu, which offers a library of movie titles and television that is transmitted in the HDX video format, offering 1080p video and Dolby Digital Plus 7.1. Sports fans can now access the Digital Broadcast SEC (South East Conference) XOS and College Sports. Other services include the library added short films from Comedy Time, independent film library of SnagFilms, and Watch Mojo.
Updating the IOS device application is now available. The date of availability for the support for Android devices has not yet been announced.
Added streaming services are now available. Vudu costs $ 2 or more for each income, but WD is offering for a limited time $ 5 credit for subscribers. The other services are free.
